One can see that volume of the reservoir noise may not be a fair measure of the flowrate.
The laboratory studies suggest that the total reservoir noise volume reaching out the downhole tool depends both on differential flowrate and drawdown.
The modern Reservoir Noise Log are normally based on Spectral Noise Logging Tool (SNL).
