Ratio of gas production rate q^{\uparrow}_G to oil production rate q^{\uparrow}_O:
(1) | Y_G={\rm GOR}=\frac{q^{\uparrow}_G}{q^{\uparrow}_O} |
The simplest way to model the GOR in a given well is the GOR Fractional Flow @model:
(2) | Y_G = {\rm GOR}= R_s + \frac{M_{rg}}{M_{ro}} \cdot \frac{B_o}{B_g} |
which provides a good estimate when the drawdown is much higher than delta pressure from gravity and capillary effects.
