The contact area between the well and reservoir.
In non-fractured wells this would be the well walls.
In fractured reservoir this would be the fracture faces contacting the reservoir.
The Well-Reservoir Contact (WRC) is closely related to the concepts of Mechanical Skin-factor and Geometrical Skin-factor.
