Low-density alkanes that stay gaseous both at subsurface reservoir and surface conditions.


The usual composition is methane (C1) with minor additions of higher alkanes, water vapor and other gases.


May include minor organic and inorganic chemical substances


Natural Gas is usually split into two mutually exclusive categories: Dry Gas and Wet Gas.
