A physical property that does not depend on the amount of the material and is only defined by the material's chemical structure and Thermodynamics.

Any function of quantifiable material property is also a material property.

For the material which is a part of thermodynamic system all its material properties are fully defined by Pressure and Temperature only.

These material properties are usually measured at laboratories and are well tabulated within the practical range of Pressure and Temperature.
