Synonym: Reflection Seismology = Seismic Survey
One of the key methods of Subsurface Exploration that uses the body wave propagations in Earth's interior to estimate subsurface Earth's structure.
It's based on exciting the body waves at Earth's surface ( also called seismic waves ) and then. capturing the numerous reflections of body waves at a different point on surface (see Fig. 1).
