The layer of gases, commonly known as air, retained by Earth's gravity, surrounding the planet Earth and forming its planetary atmosphere.
The main Earth's Atmosphere composition compounds are: Nitrogen N2 (78%), 20.95% Oxygen O2 (21%), Argon Ar (0.9%) and Carbon dioxide CO2 (0.04% ), see also Air (chemical substance).
