Formation permeability in transversal to vertical direction.

(1) k_h = \sqrt{k_x^2+k_y^2}
(2) k_x = k_h \cdot \cos \alpha
(3) k_x = k_h \cdot \sin \alpha
(4) \tan \alpha = \frac{k_y}{k_x}


For laterally isotropic reservoir : 

(5) \tan \alpha = 1 \quad \Leftrightarrow \quad k_h = k_x = k_y
