Specific data processing and interpretation workflow of multi-well production/injection history and permanent downhole gauges (PDG) data records, based on unit-rate transient responses, usually acquired from pressure deconvolution.
It has features of both Production Analysis (PA) and Pressure Transient Analysis (PTA) but since it processes historical data on production rates and PDG and does not require additional activities at well site then from logistical point of view it belongs to the Production Analysis (PA) domain.
The ultimate purpose of MRT is to extract maximum information from correlation between the flowrate and BHP history.
This information is related to well flow performance and cross-well connectivity.
