Volumetric flowrate of the dry gas measured at separator


Usually produced from subsurface gas phase and oil phase 


For volatile oil fluid model the gas surface flowrate  q_O is related to gas sandface flowrate  q_g  and oil sandface flowrate  q_o as:

(1) q_G =(1-R_v \, R_s)^{-1} \left( \frac{q_g}{B_g} +\frac{R_s \, q_o}{B_o} \right)

where

oil formation volume factor between separator and sandface pressure/temperature conditions

R_s

Solution GOR at sandface pressure/temperature conditions


It simplifies for the Black Oil model to:

(2) q_G = \frac{q_g}{B_g}
