Definition

PLT is a

Error rendering macro 'excerpt-include'

No link could be created for 'PLT (survey)'.

Objectives

ProducerInjector (water or gas)

Picking up the fluid inflow intervals and phase characterization

Picking up the fluid injection intervals

Estimating flowrate of each phase component across each inflow intervalEstimating injection rate across each injection interval
Check up for cross-flows in shut-in conditions between formation units with different formation pressure

Picking up the zones of tubing and/or casing integrity failure

Deliverables

Oil Producer

Water Injector

Fig.1 . PLT in producer with oil and water production.

Both perforations are producing oil and water with upper interval producing more than lower.

The lower inflow zone is mostly producing water.

Fig. 2. PLT in water injector.

Injection is going to the upper and lower part of perforation with majority of water going to the upper part and the most of perforations are not taking water.
