Specific type of Leak Detection based on pumping the fluid/gas with tracer into tubing/annulus and checking the presence of surface tracers in the adjacent void.
If the pump flowrate is measured then the arrival time at the surface can be approximately translated to the along-hole depth where the leakage occurs.
