RQI vs PHI
Rock Quality Index is defined as
| RQI=0.0314 \sqrt \frac{k}{\phi} |
where k – absolute permeability to air and \phi – is formation porosity.
RQI is one of the key characteristic properties of lithological facies.
For the majority of formations RQI is directly related to cross-porous channel diameter.
