A mixture of very high density hydrocarbons that stay semi-solid in subsurface reservoir.
The usual composition ranges above C16 and API gravity is in the range of 4° ÷ 10° (Specific Gravity = 1.0 ÷ 1.04).
It may also include minor organic and inorganic chemical substances (< 7% in weight).
