Specific Field Development Planning which aims at maximum production acceleration and usually assumes the following principles:

  • drilling producers only in the zones of the maximum residual reserves
  • reducing BHP in producers to the minimal value
  • increasing THP in injectors to the maximum value
  • workovers are focused on production maintenance only


This FDP is usually exercised at the end of the economical production and right before Decomission.

The Booster FDP may not be the most economical and reaching the highest recovery.
