A mixture of hydrocarbons which stays liquid at both subsurface reservoir and surface conditions and containing Oil with no dissolved gas.:
Rs = 0
The usual composition is octane (C8) and higher alkanes with API gravity < 40.
May include minor organic and inorganicchemical substances.
If oil does contain dissolved gas then it is called live oil.
